Artists commentary on "Cloud City in Lavender":
Mostly listened to Enigma when I was painting this. I feel that is why this ended up soft with this soothing, textured shades. Once again, a cityscape in the clouds, blending seamlessly lavender, pink, magenta, blue and Naples yellow with accents in turquoise. Enjoyed painting this, maybe my head was in the clouds...
