Artists commentary on "Desert Rose Diptych":
These two paintings were intended for a specific place in a kitchen. I had to paint something that fitted a smaller wall and considering there were no plants in the kitchen, no colour really, this was a perfect way to add some colour and plants at once. A two-panel artwork featuring an abstract plant on a textured canvas. Everything feels alive, from strokes, I did to the colours I chose, to added splatters of colour and glitter. It will lighten up any space.
