Artist's commentary on "Black Seam":
Long in the making. Experimenting with a few different techniques to get the lines as I wanted them. Love the texture.
It is dark. Started as completely black and built up from it into whites and a few accents of blue, red and gold. 

The idea for a song again comes from Stinćs song: "We Work the Black Seam" from his debut solo album in 1985. I love that alum, and while listening to that song it just instinctively I painted something black. Considering the lyrics expressed, I think it is absolutely fitting.
